Messeforum’s company and growth story began with a genuine customer need that our founder and owner, Arto Varanki, identified during his earlier career in international trade and exports. Arto’s firsthand experience of ordering exhibition stands and his deep understanding of everything that exhibiting at trade fairs entails played a crucial role in shaping Messeforum’s business concept. Today, this expertise in exhibition stands and stand construction is leveraged by Messeforum’s highly skilled team—all of whom also have extensive experience in international trade and exhibitions—to serve Finnish and international clients in exhibition projects around the world.

Genuinely Sustainable Exhibition Business

Messeforum is a solid, privately owned company operating on a sound basis. As a business, we want to take our responsibility for the environment we all share and for the wellbeing of the fellow human beings on this planet.

Messeforum’s values are based on social and environmental responsibility and honest, ethical operations. We respect the laws, the norms of our society and good business practices, as well as every individual regardless of age, gender or race. It is important to us that our sustainability efforts are genuine, measurable, and transparently reported.

That’s why we are committed to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative – on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. We report annually to the UN Global Compact. The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals guide our operations and we strive to develop our company to meet these goals even better.

From 2025, we were accepted to join SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) and have set a target to reduce our absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030, compared to 2023. We regularly calculate the emissions generated by both the exhibition stands we build and our wider business operations, and we report on our emissions and their development annually.
